There's always something to celebrate at our school! From exciting events to proud moments and everyday wins, here are some of our highlights.

A year at our school

Learner Qualities. At Prestons Public School our 7 learner qualities are: problem solver, collaborative, curious, reflective, resilient, determined and brave. Our Prestons Pride team promote and teach classes about these learner qualities.

Student Parliament. Our elected student parliament includes our Prime Ministers, Deputy Prime Ministers, Members of Parliament and class representatives. Parliament meet regularly and students vote on motions. We live stream our parliament sitting every term.

High Potential Gifted Education. Our talented students competed in Tournament of the Minds.

Our bushlands is an amazing space to connect with nature.

Wasabi our Therapy dog visits us every Thursday.

Our breakfast club is a great way to start the day. Students are welcome to come and have freshly made food before heading to the classroom. We welcome special guests throughout the term.

We have had amazing visitors joining our breakfast club over the year for the students to interact with.

Special Visitors at Breakfast Club for our PJ Day!

Our friends from Green Valley Police stopped by Breakfast Club this morning, and what a fantastic visit it was!

They told us that their stop at Prestons Public School was the highlight of their week — and we couldn’t agree more!

A huge thank you to Constable Beardshaw, Constable Sisouvath, and Constable Patterson for taking the time to chat with our students. Your presence means so much to our school community, and our students had so many great questions for you!
