What does learning look like at Prestons?

Prestons Public School is a proud primary school situated in the Prestons area. We cater for students from Kindergarten to Year 6 and provide outstanding educational, sporting, cultural and social programs aimed at ensuring all students have the opportunity to realise their potential and achieve their best in all areas. Our school has recently had an upgrade to cater for projected growth in our area. In 2020 we are excited to have ten modern new learning spaces, an upgraded hall and enhanced outdoor learning spaces. These beautiful new learning spaces with brand new flexible furniture and modern, future focused learning spaces will be used for our Stage 1 classes. At Prestons we are passionate about equipping our students to live and learn successfully in the 21st century in a future focused learning environment. Our high quality educational programs and evidence based teaching practices help our students to develop the skills that are required to prepare them for further study and jobs in the future. These skills include creativity, communication, collaboration and communication. Our teachers engage in ongoing research and professional learning to ensure that our teaching practices support preparing our students for the future.
