School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.
Our school event may include:
- transition to school programs

Book Week
Date: Monday 18th August - Friday 22nd August 2025
Book Week is a special time at our school where we celebrate a love of reading. Students take part in fun activities throughout the week.

P&C meeting
Date: Monday 29 June 2026
Time: 9:15am
Join our vibrant P&C. Meetings are held week 4 and week 8 of every term in the Community Room. Parents and carers are welcome to attend.
Three Way Conversations
Date: Tuesday 30 June 2026
Bookings: Book via Sentral or contact the office.
Meet with your child's classroom teacher to learn how they are going at school. Students will share their learning goals and work that they are proud of.
Community Walk
Date: Tuesday 30 June 2026
Stage 3 Aboriginal students will join Miss Perry and Mrs Van Der Meulen on a community walk to connect with or local schools and share a gift to our local school. We will culminate the event with a lunch BBQ at Lurnea PS.
Combined Schools NAIDOC day event
Date: Thursday 2 July 2026
Our Aboriginal students from Years 4-6 will travel to our Combined Schools NAIDOC day event at Miller Public School.
Support Unit Athletics Carnival
Date: Wednesday 1 July 2026
Parents and carers are invited to join our Support Unit students for their annual athletics carnival which will be held in the passive play area.
